For the super-budget-conscious parent, prefolds and contours make cloth diapering easy at a lower price.

Prefolds are lampin that have been folded and sewn to be thicker in the middle, where baby needs it most. Our prefolds are made of birdseye cotton with 8 layers in the middle and 4 layers on each side. This makes our prefolds the most absorbent you'll find!

Contour diapers give you a lot of the benefits of modern cloth diapers at a much lower price! Kissaluvs contour diapers are shaped to fit baby snugly: no more complex folding! They're made from super-absorbent cotton fleece that wicks moisture away from baby's sensitive skin. They have a doubler in the center for more absorbency where you need it.

For both prefolds and contours, just put the diaper in a snug-fitting diaper cover, and you're all set! (You can also fasten with a pin or a Snappi if you wish.)

Prefolds come in one size, Small (14.5" x 21") that fits babies under 1 year old. Kissaluvs contour diapers come in three sizes: the hybrid one-size contour has elasticized legs and fit babies from 7 to 35 lbs. NB/Small fits babies from 5 to 20 lbs. And M/L fits babies from 15-30 lbs.

Like Kissaluvs fitted diapers, Kissaluvs contour (aka, "shaped") diapers give you quality fabrics and terrific fit over a wide size range. An economical alternative to fitted diapers, contours are easy to use . . . just lay inside a snug-fitting wrap, and you're all set. The long wings give you the option of pinning the diaper for use under any type of cover or wrap.

What makes our contour diapers so nice? Textured fabrics that help contain messes. Uniquely sewn-in soaker/doubler for fast drying time. Thick, absorbent fabric where you need it, not where you don't, for a very trim fit. Long wings for room to pin/Snappi, if you're so inclined. A simple, adjustable design that lets you fold down or tuck the front of the diaper to adjust the rise. Attached doubler that stays put, no flopping around or awkward adjustments. The same awesome fabrics and colors of our fitted diapers. The quality fabrics and construction you expect from Kissaluvs, in an economical alternative to our luxurious fitted diapers.

Our contour diapers are made of absorbent materials inside and out, so you will likely want to use diaper covers over them.

Contour Diaper FAQ's

Thirsties in Action

(1) How do I use fitted diapers?

Put it on baby just like you would put on a disposable, then use pins, clips, or Snappi to fasten! If you use a snug-fitting diaper cover like Thirsties Duo Wraps, you don't even need to pin them!

(2) Which size Kissaluvs contour diapers should I buy?

NB/S - approximately 5 to 20 lbs
M/L - approximately 15 to 30 lbs
Hybrid One-Size - approximately 7 to 35 lbs

(3) What's the difference between the fleece contour diaper and the hybrid one-size diaper?

Both diapers are made of the same luxurious cotton fleece material. The fleece contour diaper has more exact sizing. The hybrid one-size diaper needs to be adjustable at the rise to fit smaller babies, and it has elastic leg holes which can keep messes in better for smaller babies but might dig into the thighs of chubbier babies. If you aren't sure which you want to get, feel free to buy both and avail of our 7-day return policy once you've decided. (4) I'm happy with disposables. Why should I use cloth diapers?

Cloth diapers are better for baby. Less diaper rashes. No harsh chemicals. In contrast, many disposable diapers contain trace amounts of dioxin (a probable carcinogenic), TBT (a highly toxic chemical), and harsh perfumes.

Cloth diapers are better for you. They're a lot cheaper! Using contour diapers and diaper covers is half the price of using disposables!

Cloth diapers are better for Mother Earth. You won't be adding disposable nappies to our already over-burdened landfills.

(5) How long wil each size last?

Babies vary greatly in size and shape, but following average weight gain:

Kissaluvs Contours NB/S- birth to approximately 10 months old
Kissaluvs Contours M/L - approximately 6 months old to appoximately 3 years old

Kissaluvs Hybrid One-Size Contours - birth to appoximately 4 years old. Will not fit preemie babies.

This is based on international reference standards; average Filipino babies may be a little smaller in size. Please also note that breastfed babies gain weight more quickly than formula-fed babies in the first three months of life, then gain weight more slowly than formula-fed babies from 3 to 12 months old.

(6) Are Kissaluvs contour diapers suitable for use at night?

Yes, they are! Just pair them with an additional doubler for added absorbency.

(7) Can you tell me more about the fabric used in Kissaluvs Contour Diapers?

Kissaluvs contour diapers are made of cotton fleece custom-made in the USA to Kissaluvs' specifications. They are soft, stretchy, and plush. They have a deep pile sherpa finish--thicker and nicer than most cotton fleeces, and no pilling! The surface is 100% cotton surface; a touch of poly (10%) in the base adds durability, and knit construction ensures that only cotton touches baby's skin. The stretchiness allows for a wide size range, custom fit. They are stain-resistant, durable, and preshrunk.
